Rehearsal Room Paperwork

Mags and I (the two ASM's) worked together to create scenic transition paperwork that would help us be efficient and effective in the rehearsal room. Together we designed how we wanted the paper to be laid out and function. I tackled creating the template and all of the formulas that would reference the table that mags created.

These "one pagers" as we called them, were vital in the rehearsal room for understanding what furniture was on what pallet in what location on the stage.

Pallet Hangcards

Mags and I knew that a typical run sheet would not be enough to effectively communicate and run the deck during the show. Together we designed the layout and function of what we called the "Pallet Hangcards." I created the template, did the spreadsheet automation, and kept the Automation tacking table up to date in the rehearsal room so it would populate our "hangcards" with the most accurate information. I was the Stage Right ASM, so I took the lead on the Pallet A & C hangcard particular information, while Mags focused on Pallets B & D. These hangcards were not only how we taught the crew how to do each of the transitions, but also served as what we ran the show from. Flipping to the next hangcard for each pallet to know what should be striking & Loading each transition.
